Our Policies
Policies at AL-BARAKA MENTAL HEALTH
At AL-BARAKA MENTAL HEALTH, our primary goal is to provide you with the highest quality mental health services in a supportive and respectful environment. To ensure clarity and understanding of our operational practices, we have outlined our policies below:
Late Policy
We recognize that life can sometimes be unpredictable, and you may encounter situations that cause delays. If you arrive late to your appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate you; however, please be aware that the session will still conclude at the scheduled time to respect the appointments of other clients. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, we may consider this a no-show, and you may be subject to our no-show policy.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
To honor the time of both our clients and therapists, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellations. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or fail to show up for your scheduled session, you may incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the session. We understand that emergencies can occur, but repeated no-shows may result in a reassessment of your ongoing treatment with us. We encourage open communication regarding any challenges you face in attending your appointments.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to us. AL-BARAKA MENTAL HEALTH adheres strictly to HIPAA regulations and takes all necessary measures to protect your personal information. We will not share any of your information with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law. All medical records and information discussed during your therapy sessions will remain confidential and secure. We are committed to maintaining a safe space for you to share openly.
Payment Policy
Payments for services are due at the time of service. We accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit cards, PayPal, and Health Savings Accounts. If you plan to use insurance, please provide the necessary information prior to your appointment to facilitate the billing process. It is your responsibility to verify your insurance coverage and any applicable copays or deductibles. If you have questions regarding payment options, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our administrative team.
Emergency and Crisis Policy
While we strive to provide support and guidance during our scheduled appointments, we recognize that mental health emergencies can arise unexpectedly. In the event of a crisis, we urge you to seek immediate assistance from local emergency services or contact a crisis hotline. While we are here to support you, we cannot guarantee immediate intervention outside of your scheduled appointments. Your safety is our priority, and we want you to have the resources necessary to address urgent situations.
